Listen, watch, move and speak! TPR strategy and speaking with 6th grade students in Escuela Normal Superior de Popayán

Abstract

The Investigative Pedagogical Practice: Listen, watch, move and speak! was developed at the Institución Educativa Normal Superior de Popayán, with sixth grade students and had the purpose of Interpreting the learning obtained by students in the Speaking skill through the pedagogical project; the PPI was developed under the Qualitative Approach with a type of Action Research. The conceptual framework was approached from different categories: Natural Approach, Total Physical Response, Speaking skill in communication and didactic strategies based on the Total Physical Response (TPR). The pedagogical proposal was developed in the diagnostic, action plan and evaluation stages, the findings were codified and analyzed, showing the impact of the proposal and generating conclusions.

La Práctica Pedagógica Investigativa: Listen, watch, move and speak fue desarrollada en la Institución Educativa Normal Superior de Popayán, con estudiantes de grado sexto y tuvo como propósito Interpretar los aprendizajes obtenidos por los estudiantes en la habilidad del Speaking a través de la propuesta; la PPI se desarrolló bajo el Enfoque Cualitativo con un tipo de Investigación Acción. El marco conceptual se abordó desde distintas categorías entre las cuales se encuentran: Natural Approach, Total Physical Response, Speaking skill in communication y estrategias didácticas basadas en el Total Physical Response (TPR). La propuesta pedagógica se desarrolló en las etapas de diagnóstico, plan de acción y evaluación, los hallazgos se codificaron y analizaron evidenciando el impacto de la propuesta y generando conclusiones.
