Interculturalización de los saberes matemáticos para resistir

Abstract

El trabajo de grado fue realizado en la Institución Educativa Comercial El Palo de Caloto-Cauca, tomó como guía las orientaciones del educador Paulo Freire, que facilitaron la generación de conocimiento para la valoración de las matemáticas ancestrales como saberes previos del proceso pedagógico con los que llegan los educandos indígenas Nasa, afrocolombianos y campesinos a las aulas de clases. La metodología cualitativa tomó elementos de la etnografía para la descripción de la cultura de las comunidades a las que pertenecen educandos, con los instrumentos de recolección de datos: observación, diálogo y problematización, logró información para la generación del conocimiento necesario para la concientización sobre la diversidad cultural de los educandos que llegan al aula escolar. Esto aportó elementos para la formulación de estrategias pedagógicas de educación intercultural en matemáticas en el contexto de los educandos para el fortalecimiento de la identidad y de su pensamiento crítico para la resistencia por el derecho al reconocimiento a educación real que valore e integre de saberes matemáticos ancestrales de las culturas en el aula de clases con los lineamientos curriculares de las matemáticas dispuestos por las autoridades del sistema educativo colombiano.

The degree work was carried out at the El Palo Commercial Educational Institution in Caloto-Cauca, guided by the orientations of the educator Paulo Freire, which facilitated the generation of knowledge for the evaluation of ancestral mathematics as prior knowledge of the pedagogical process with which the indigenous Nasa students, afro-Colombians and peasants to the classrooms. The qualitative methodology took elements of ethnography for the description of the culture of the communities to which students belong, with the instruments of data collection: observation, dialogue and problematization, obtained information for the generation of the necessary knowledge for the awareness of the cultural diversity of the students who arrive in the classroom. This provided elements for the formulation of pedagogical strategies for intercultural education in mathematics in the context of the students, for the strengthening of their identity and critical thinking for the resistance for the right to recognition of real education that values and integrates ancestral mathematical knowledge of the cultures in the classroom with the curricular guidelines of mathematics provided by the authorities of the Colombian educational system.
