El trabajo de investigación se desarrolló en el municipio de Silvia, Cauca con la Institución Educativa Técnica Kisgo, cuyo objetivo fue plantear estrategias que permitieran una sustentabilidad en los sistemas productivos de la institución mediante el diseño de un sistema agrosilvopastoril.
Primero que todo se realizo una socialización en asamblea general sobre la ruta de trabajo y encargados, posteriormente se realizó una caracterización de tres dimensiones a analizar, la dimensión económico productiva en donde se identificó la evolución del uso y manejo del suelo a través del tiempo, identificación de subsistemas agrícolas y pecuarios. La dimensión ambiental que recoge las interacciones entre el uso del suelo y su relación con el manejo de los recursos naturales y la dimensión social que engloba la interacción que existe entre la naturaleza y sus procesos ecológicos con la sociedad y sus procesos sociales.
Con el análisis de estas dimensiones mediante la metodología del metabolismo rural se diseñaron unas estrategias que permitieran sustentabilidad a los procesos económico pedagógicos de la institución en el que destaca un sistema silvopastoril con especies nativas de la región cuyas interacciones y sinergias aportan al sistema en beneficio de disminución de costos, manejo ambiental y sociocultural; de igual manera se planteo un plan de manejo en el cual se programan actividades de acuerdo a la fisiología de cada especie y sus requerimientos sumado a un presupuesto para iniciar la implementación del sistema productivo.
The research was carried out in the municipality of Silvia, Cauca, with the Kisgo Technical Educational Institution, aimed at proposing strategies that would allow sustainability in the productive systems of the institution through the design of an agro-silvopastoral system.
First of all, a general assembly was held to socialize the work plan and assign responsibilities. Subsequently, a characterization of three dimensions to be analyzed was conducted: the economic-productive dimension, where the evolution of soil use and management over time was identified, as well as the identification of agricultural and livestock subsystems. The environmental dimension, which encompasses the interactions between land use and its relationship with natural resource management, and the social dimension, which encompasses the interaction between nature and its ecological processes with society and its social processes.
With the analysis of these dimensions using the rural metabolism methodology, strategies were designed to sustain the institution's economic-educational processes. Among them, a silvopastoral system with native species from the region was highlighted, whose interactions and synergies contribute to the system's benefit in terms of cost reduction, environmental management, and sociocultural aspects. Likewise, a management plan was proposed in which activities are scheduled according to the physiology of each species and their requirements, along with a budget to initiate the implementation of the productive system.
