El presente trabajo aborda la problemática de cómo el material didáctico que se desarrolla desde las expresiones artísticas en el área de ciencias naturales, puede fortalecer el aprendizaje de la morfología vegetal. Se identificó que las instituciones educativas que se visitaron carecen de materiales didácticos que promuevan experiencias vivenciales y que motiven a los estudiantes en este tema. El objetivo propuesto fue desarrollar un material didáctico fundamentado en las expresiones artísticas para fortalecer el aprendizaje de la morfología vegetal. El estudio tiene un enfoque cualitativo; se realizaron varias entrevistas a profesores de ciencias naturales con el fin de recopilar información que permitiera comprender la importancia de la morfología vegetal, su aprendizaje y la necesidad de un material didáctico para la orientación de esta temática. Dicho material se llevó a la práctica y se evaluó en algunas instituciones educativas, lo que permitió evidenciar el impacto positivo en la motivación y comprensión de los estudiantes sobre el tema.
Concluyendo que un proceso interdisciplinario entre las expresiones artísticas como un medio facilitador, el material didáctico puede enriquecer la enseñanza, facilitando un aprendizaje más dinámico y significativo para las ciencias naturales.
The present work addresses the problem of how didactic material that is developed from artistic expressions in the area of natural sciences can strengthen the learning of plant morphology. It was identified that the educational institutions that were visited lack teaching materials that promote experiential experiences and motivate students on this topic. The proposed objective was to develop teaching material based on artistic expressions to strengthen the learning of plant morphology. The study has a qualitative approach; Several interviews were carried out with natural sciences teachers in order to collect information that would allow us to understand the importance of plant morphology, its learning and the need for teaching material to guide this topic. This material was put into practice and evaluated in some educational institutions, which made it possible to demonstrate the positive impact on students' motivation and understanding of the topic. Concluding that an interdisciplinary process between artistic expressions as a facilitating means, didactic material can enrich teaching, facilitating more dynamic and meaningful learning for the natural sciences.
