Scratch como mediador para el aprendizaje del sistema excretor en el ser humano con estudiantes de grado cuarto de la institución educativa Liceo Bello Horizonte

Abstract

Esta propuesta investigativa pretende dar a conocer el buen uso que se le puede dar a las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) dentro del aula de clase, mediante actividades que permitan comprender el concepto del sistema excretor a través de prácticas realizadas en la sala de sistemas, para las cuales se tiene en cuenta el diseño realizado en la herramienta Scratch como estrategia que favorece la participación activa del estudiante en la construcción de su propio conocimiento, ayudando a que se fortalezcan sus habilidades y destrezas para que tengan la oportunidad de aprovechar otros recursos diferentes a los que se utilizan dentro del aula de clase de tal manera que potencien sus saberes previos. Para focalizar este trabajo con respecto a lo anteriormente mencionado se tiene en cuenta a David Ausubel y Alfonso Pedrajas donde el primero resalta la importancia de diseñar diferentes estrategias de aprendizaje en las que el docente solo se muestra como un guía del estudiante y no como un transmisor de conocimiento (Ausubel, 1983) y el último plantea la importancia de incorporar la enseñanza asistida por computador porque ésta no solo puede instruir y orientar al estudiante sobre aspectos concretos de las diversas materias y contenidos de la enseñanza sino que ofrece varias posibilidades desde el punto de vista de la comunicación interactiva, el tratamiento de imágenes, la simulación de fenómenos (Pedrajas, 2005). Como parte final del trabajo se evidencia que después de la aplicación del diseño en Scratch existe un avance en los estudiantes con relación a la comprensión del concepto de sistema excretor en el ser humano.

This research proposal intend to show the good use that can be given to information technology and communication (ICT) in the classroom through activities that allow to understand excretory system concept with practices in the system room for which we use a design in Scratch tool as a strategy that favors the students active participation in the construction of their own knowledge helping to strengthen their skills and abilities and have the opportunity to take advantage of different resources that are used in the classroom in such a way that encourage their previous knowledge. To focus this work with respect to the above mentioned, we will consider the theory of significant learning of Ausubel and Alfonso Pedrajas in which the first highlights the importance of designing different learning strategies in which the teacher is just a guide for the student and not a transmitter of knowledge (Ausubel,1983) and the last poses that the importance of incorporating computer-aided teaching because it can not only instruct and guide the student on specific aspects of the various subjects and contents of teaching, but also offers several possibilities from the point of view of interactive communication, the treatment of images , the simulation of phenomena ( Pedrajas,2005). As a final part of the investigation it is evident that after the application of the design in Scratch there is an advance in students in relation to the understanding of the concept of excretory system in the human body.
