Correlación del valor de equivalente de arena de un material y la cantidad relativa presente de partículas con tamaño menor a 75 μm (No. 200)

Abstract

Este trabajo estudia la variación del valor de equivalente de arena (ASTM D2419-95, AASHTO T176-02, INV E 133-07) mediante la variación únicamente de la cantidad de polvo fino (<75μm) presente en la muestra de arena. La cantidad en peso de la arena en cada una de las muestras se mantiene constante. Mediante la caracterización del material fino se pretende poder relacionar los resultados de equivalente de arena.

This document try to explain the behavior of the relative proportion of fine dust or clay material harmful in the fine aggregate, affected by the intrinsic physicalmechanical properties of fine material. The samples are evaluated by the sand equivalent test (ASTM D2419-95, AASHTO T176-02, I.N.V. E 133-07), setting only the amount of fine material that pass the sieve No. 200 (75μm), which is it has evaluated its volumetric, gravimetric and plasticity properties. Although all soil types classified by the USCS was not studied, it is important the contribution has been done in the state of knowledge, it is necessary that the proposal be confronted with future research.
