Stop-motion : Un medio creativo de las estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Nuestra Señora del Carmen

Abstract

“Stop-Motion, un proceso creativo de las estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Popayán” es un proyecto que nace de la práctica pedagógica investigativa llevada a cabo con las estudiantes de la asignatura: Área de Interés Personal (manualidades) durante los años 2013 y 2014. Por medio de la observación y análisis de los trabajos realizados, logramos identificar el problema investigativo, la debilidad en los procesos creativos, vistos desde las características propuestas por Guilford (1952): originalidad, flexibilidad y fluidez; y uno más, la fantasía, importante para Todorov (1974). El objetivo principal que se planteó fue, “Comprender el aporte del stop-motion a la procesos creativos en las estudiantes…”. En un contexto sociocultural como el de hoy, donde nace lo que Ramírez (2011) llama la “cibercultura”, el stop motion como un medio de animación, se presenta como una técnica atractiva desde el campo pedagógico: Integra las TIC y los recursos multimedia, potenciando su alcance comunicativo, al traer las herramientas tecnológicas al aula. En esos procesos La escuela crece y aporta a la formación de una cultura consciente del uso tecnológico en beneficio de la humanidad, a partir del desarrollo conjunto de habilidades comunicativas y artísticas. A lo largo del proceso, se fueron percibiendo avances significativos en la producción e interacción de las estudiantes con la técnica del stop-motion, con el transcurrir de los talleres, mostraban mayor desenvolvimiento e interés: se evidenciaba mejores resultados. Esta experiencia se fortaleció las habilidades grupales de las estudiantes mediante el trabajo colectivo que exigió toda la producción.

Al concluir la etapa de investigación, encontramos que el stop-motion, además de ser una técnica de animación cinematográfica muy interesante, tiene otro desarrollo como recurso didáctico y pedagógico para el fortalecimiento de los procesos creativos, comunicativos y artísticos en los estudiantes.

“Stop Motion: a creative process of the students of the Institución Educativa Nuestra Señora Del Carmen, Popayán”, is a project that born of the investigative pedagogical practice with the students of the subject “area of personal interest” (crafts) during the years 2013 and 2014. Through observation and analysis of the work, we can identify the research problem: the weakness in the creative process, seen from the features offered by Guilford (1952): originality, flexibility and fluency; and one more, the fantasy, an important feature for Todorov (1974). The main objective raised was: "Understanding the contribution of stop-motion at the creative processes in the students ...". In a sociocultural context like today, called “cyberculture” by Ramirez (2011), the stop motion can be seen like a through animation and as an attractive technique from the field of education, because integrates the ICT and multimedia resources, enhancing their communicative scope and bringing technology as a classroom tools. In these processes, the school grows and contributes to the formation of a conscious culture in the use of technology for the benefit of humanity, from the set of communicative skills and artistic development. Throughout the process, was possible perceive significant advances in the production and interaction of students with the technique of stop-motion; with the passing of the workshops, the students showed greater development and interest and therefore, better results were evident. This experience strengthened the group skills of the students through the collective work that demanded the entire production.

At the conclusion of the investigation stage, we find that the stop-motion, besides being a very interesting animated film technique, it has another development as a teaching and learning resource for strengthening the creative, communicative and artistic processes in students.
