Apoyo a la caracterización socioeconómica y productiva de ganaderos lecheros en el municipio de Puracé. /

Abstract

Este trabajo de práctica social realizado con los ganaderos de seis diferentes asociaciones pertenecientes al municipio de Puracé en el departamento del Cauca, el cual se llevó a cabo con el fin de recopilar información primaria necesaria para el diagnóstico de las unidades productivas. Se desarrollo inicialmente la caracterización de cada unidad productiva, partiendo de la identificación de los predios, propietarios y ubicación detallada entre otros, mediante una entrevista semiestructurada con el productor. Se recopilo información que permitió realizar el diagnostico de cada unidad productiva a través de la evaluación por indicadores mediante la encuesta denominada Planificación predial participativa (PPP), en niveles, socioeconómico, ambiental y productivo, que permitieron la identificación de dificultades, deficiencias y fortalezas de cada unidad productiva. Finalmente se realizó el seguimiento de buenas prácticas de ordeño (BPO) a través de una encuesta, donde se evaluaron las actividades realizadas por los ganaderos en el momento del ordeño; como es lavado de ubre, pre- sellado, despunte, sellado, la utilización de prueba mastitis california test, y cumplimiento con el tiempo de retiro a la hora de medicar.

This social practice work carried out with ranchers from six different associations belonging to the municipality of Puracé in the department of Cauca, which was carried out in order to collect primary information necessary for the diagnosis of the productive units. Initially, the characterization of each productive unit was developed, starting from the identification of the properties, owners and detailed location, among others, through a semi-structured interview with the producer. Information was collected that allowed the diagnosis of each productive unit through the evaluation by indicators through the survey called (Participatory Farm Planning), at levels, socioeconomic, environmental and productive, which allowed the identification of difficulties, deficiencies and strengths of each productive unit. Finally, the monitoring of good milking practices was carried out through a survey, where those carried out by the farmers at the time of milking were evaluated; such as udder washing, pre-sealing, blunting, sealing, the use of California mastitis tests, and compliance with the withdrawal time when medicating.
