Se determinó el estado actual del Vivero Forestal Los Robles de la Facultad de
Ciencias Agropecuarias de la Universidad del Cauca, abordando las áreas de
mantenimiento, investigación, administración de recursos económicos, producción
y comercialización; este ejercicio se ejecutó con base en encuestas y planillas de
producción creadas por los mismos estudiantes, a partir de estas se establecieron
precios en el mercado local y de esta forma se determinaron los costos de
producción de las plántulas al igual que los beneficios que genera el vivero.
Posterior a la realización del diagnóstico del Vivero Forestal Los Robles, se diseñó
un cronograma de actividades con base en las necesidades establecidas,
contando con la participación de los estudiantes de Silvicultura de Plantaciones,
Administración de Empresas Agropecuarias y profesores de estas asignaturas,
creando entre ellos grupos de trabajo encargados de ejecutar diferentes labores
en el proceso de mejoramiento dentro de un plazo establecido y bajo supervisión,
además se acordaron reuniones con el fin de realizar un balance general de las
actividades del vivero y así garantizar el cumplimiento oportuno de las mismas.
Como resultado del esfuerzo realizado en conjunto entre estudiantes y profesores
se puede evidenciar un cambio en diferentes aspectos tanto organizacionales
como de infraestructura, logrando finalmente suplir gran parte de las necesidades
identificadas durante este trabajo, convirtiéndolo en un lugar propicio para el
desarrollo de prácticas estudiantiles y a su vez lograr cumplir las tareas
propuestas en cuanto a investigación, producción y comercialización se refiere.
We determined the current status of the nursery forest oaks, Faculty of Agricultural
Sciences, University of Cauca, addressing the areas of maintenance, research,
resource management, economic, production and marketing, this exercise was
carried out based on surveys and spreadsheets production created by the
students, since these were established in the local market prices and thus
determined the cost of production of seedlings as well as the benefits generated by
the nursery. After the completion of the diagnosis of oak forest nursery, we
designed a schedule of activities based on identified needs, with the participation
of students in plantation forestry, business administration and teachers of these
subjects, including creating groups working parties to perform different tasks in the
improvement process within established and supervised meetings also agreed to
take stock of the activities of the nursery and so ensure the timely completion
thereof. As a result of the efforts made jointly by students and teachers can
demonstrate a change in organizational as well as different aspects of
infrastructure, to finally meet many of the needs identified during this work, making
it an ideal place for the development of practices and student Logar turn fulfill the
proposed tasks in research, production and marketing are concerned.
