En la región sur occidente del país (Valle, Cauca y Nariño) se puede encontrar que el proyecto apoyo a alianzas productivas – PAAP, desarrollado por el Ministerio de
Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural – MADR, consisten en diagnosticar riesgos técnicos, sociales, ambientales y de mercados que permitan suponer con relativa seguridad que la iniciativa de los pequeños productores será un negocio viable, rentable y sostenible, mitigando así impactos a gran escala que se puedan presentar en la etapa de implementación de los proyectos; incluido el de “Fortalecimiento del modelo empresarial asociativo de pequeños productores de leche” donde la realización de sistemas silvopastoriles pertinentes pueden beneficiar a estos Productores de la Vereda de Patugó, Resguardo Indígena Coconuco, Municipio de Puracé, Departamento del Cauca.
En calidad de suplir esta necesidad, se realizaron los diseños silvopastoriles a implementar en dicho proyecto donde estos facilitaran la incorporación del componente arbóreo, con especies maderables asociadas al pasto Kikuyo (Pennisetum clandestinum) y especies nativas como la Acacia Decurrens y el aliso (Alnus acuminata); permitiendo así brindar a la asociación de productores una opción de implementación del diseño el cual ofrecerá nuevas oportunidades económicas mejorando la calidad del producto al utilizar técnicas sostenibles y sustentables con el medio donde no solo su economía saldría beneficiada si no también la parte social al generar nuevas oportunidades de empleo mediante la utilización de mano de obra campesina, hecho que consolida una buena dinámica manejada entre las partes forestal, ganadera y social.

As a meet this need , silvopastoral designs to be implemented in the project where they facilitate the incorporation of the tree component , with timber species associated with Kikuyu grass ( Pennisetum clandestinum ) and native species such as alder ( Alnus acuminata ) were performed ; providing enabling the association of producers a choice of design implementation which will provide new economic opportunities by improving product quality by using sustainable and environmentally sustainable techniques where not only would benefit the economy but also the social part to attract new employment opportunities through the use of farm labor , a fact that strengthens a good dynamic between the managed forest , livestock and social parties.
