dc.description.abstract This document is only the initial phase of the monitoring pilot intervention areas vulnerable to climate change, since here only perception indices and intensity are presented by the population to climatic events and perceptions in affecting the different covers in the area, since it was obtained that the events that have occurred with greater intensity due to climate change are the rains as these while not having more frequently if more intense and concentrated, which has wild type caused disasters such as landslides, landslides and subsidence; equally affected water resources as sources of supply diminish the quality of the liquid, when mixed with all kinds of sediments. As for the dry season during the assessment period has not gained wide variability, although the population ensures that presents with increasingly higher temperatures, which affect agroecosystems means survival of the population. Biomechanical works installed in the village of Santa Elena have good condition, although it is clear that one of the works is not finish, which can lead to the deterioration of it. The phase of risk management requires the joint cooperation of the people to ensure their safety and that of their neighbors, relying on institutions to enable progress in education on adaptation to climate change because this occurs more severely in areas determined as vulnerable as is the case in the settlements El Hogar and Santa Elena. en_US
