dc.description.abstract | En los predios Los Laureles, El Naranjal, El Carmen y La Aurora, pertenecientes a la vereda Los Laureles, corregimiento Quintana, se determinó la estructura y composición florística de cuatro zonas de reserva ubicadas en los cuatro predios respectivamente y se determinaron además características sociales de las familias dueñas de los predios. Para la caracterización florística en 0.1 ha se censaron todos los individuos con diámetro ≥ 2,5 cm. Se encontraron 163 individuos representados en 19 familias y 32 especies. Las familias con más especies fueron Fabaceae (6), Lauraceae (4), y Melastomataceae (4). La mayor cantidad de individuos y especies se encuentran en los intervalos de altura de 5 y 12 m correspondiente al estrato subarboreo. El área basal total fue de 4.76 m². Las especies con el mayor valor de posición fitosociológica fueron Miconia versicolor (185.73) seguida por Quercus humboldtii (173.74). Los índices de diversidad mostraron que la zona de muestreo presenta una diversidad media. Las características sociales se establecieron mediante encuestas propuestas por la Corporación Autónoma Regional de Río Negro-Nare CORNARE, inmersas en la iniciativa del proyecto Banco2 y ajustadas por la Corporación Autónoma Regional del Cauca CRC. Se reportó un total de 15 habitantes distribuidos en Los Laureles (40%), El Naranjal (40%), El Carmen (13%) y La Aurora (7%). El 73% de los habitantes tiene estudios escolares mientras que el 27% presenta analfabetismo. El 75% utilizan la leña como principal sistema de cocción. Las principales actividades productivas de la zona son la ganadería y la agricultura. | en_US |

For the floristic characterization in 0.1 ha all individuals with diameter ≥ 2.5 cm were registered. 163 individuals represented in 19 families and 32 species were found. Families with more species were Fabaceae (6), Lauraceae (4) and Melastomataceae (4). Most individuals and species in the ranges of height of 5 to 12 m corresponding to undertree layer.
