El uso de la tecnología se ha convertido en un hábito cotidiano, cuyo buen uso puede generar resultados eficientes en las actividades diarias; el proyecto SPRAYDRONE se enfoca en llevar avances tecnológicos al campo colombiano, que permitan al cultivador mejorar la calidad de sus producciones, disminuir costos, aumentar la rentabilidad y mejorar su calidad de vida.
El proyecto SPRAYDRONE busca brindar el servicio de asistencia técnica, fertilización foliar y fumigación con el uso de tecnologías de agricultura de precisión, como los drones agrícolas, y de esta manera promover una transición agroecológica que disminuya el uso de agroquímicos nocivos para el medio ambiente, los productores y los consumidores finales. El servicio va dirigido a los productores de maracuyá del departamento de Nariño, municipio de Taminango, idea que surge a partir del análisis de una serie de problemas que enfrentan los productores de este fruto en la zona, siendo el más significativo las constantes pérdidas originadas en el mal manejo de plagas y enfermedades, debido a la poca asistencia técnica con que se cuenta. La investigación evidenció el interés de los productores por mejorar y posicionarse en el mercado con productos inocuos y de calidad.
Este proyecto requiere de una inversión inicial de $43.038.702, en donde el servicio de fumigación se encuentra valorado en $180.000 y el servicio de asistencia técnica por unidad productiva en $150.000. La utilidad neta al primer año de operación se estima en $17.579.720,46 y para el quinto año en $85.692.327,19. Así mismo, los ingresos por venta al año 1 se proyectan en $241.001.587,24 y para el año 5 de funcionamiento en $563.842.082,19.

The SPRAYDRON project focuses on providing technical assistance services, foliar fertilization and fumigation through the use of precision agriculture technologies such as the use of agricultural drones. Net profit for the first year of operation is estimated at 17.579.720,46 pesos and for the fifth year at 85.692.327,19 pesos.
