Memorias de líderes sociales, docentes, niños y niñas víctimas del conflicto armado, educación popular y atención humanitaria en Argelia – Cauca

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación se desarrolló en el municipio de Argelia, Cauca, en uno de sus corregimientos El Plateado, resalta la importancia de los relatos de vida de unos docentes, un líder comunitario y la condición de los niños, niñas y jóvenes en medio del conflicto. Estos testimonios están enfocados a dos propósitos, el primero responde a la capacitad que tiene los pobladores en superar las afectaciones de la guerra a través de sus testimonios y que estos sirvan de instrumentos para aprender de ella, y el segundo es la transformación social y colectiva que se quiere lograr con los dos actores que movilizan este territorio el sector educativo y las organizaciones de base como lo son las asociaciones comunitarias populares. Los pobladores de El Plateado han demostrado en la línea del tiempo que poco a poco se han posicionado por sus propios medios, porque jamás el Estado ha invertido recursos, muestra de ello los testimonios de vida que aquí se registran como un claro ejemplo que lo conseguido ha sido resultado de su organización social y colectiva. Sin embargo, la presencia del ente territorial y nacional es importante no solo por derecho sino porque la inversión estatal debe llenar esos vacíos que las organizaciones de base no se dan abasto. El municipio de Argelia, Cauca, debe imponer la transformación social a través del fortalecimiento educativo, mostrar que el cambio es posible si los pobladores se educan y responden y aportan a la solución de las problemáticas que les adolece el territorio, y una herramienta que se puede usar son los relatos de vida de aquellas personas que les ha tocado sobrevivir a la guerra, que sirvan como instrumento para no repetir la historia de la guerra y demostrar que este aparato cuenta con la fuerza suficiente para transformar realidades.

This research paper was developed in the municipality of Argelia, Cauca, in one of its villages, El Plateado. It highlights the importance of the life stories of some teachers and a community leader, and the living conditions of children and young people in the midst of the conflict. These testimonies are focused on two purposes, the first one responds to the capacity of the inhabitants to overcome the effects of the conflict using their testimonies as instruments to learn from it, and the second one is the social and collective transformation that people want to achieve with the two actors that mobilize this territory, the educational sector, and the community-based organizations such as the popular community associations. The inhabitants of El Plateado have demonstrated in the timeline that little by little they have positioned themselves by their own efforts, because the State has never invested any resources, proof of this are the testimonies that are recorded in this paper, they are a clear example that what they have achieved has been the result of their social and collective organization. However, the presence of the territorial and national entity is important not only by right, but also because state investment must fill those gaps that community-based organizations cannot fill. The municipality of Argelia, Cauca, must promote social transformation through educational reinforcement, showing that change is possible if the inhabitants are provided with quality education, react and contribute to the solution of the problems that afflict their territory, and the life stories of those who have survived the conflict can be used as an instrument to avoid repeating the history of this conflict and to demonstrate that they are strong enough to transform their realities.
