Definición de criterios de optimización de los sistemas de dosificación y agitación en las plantas de tratamiento de aguas residuales : Caso de estudio la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales de la ciudad de Cali (PTAR-C)

Abstract

Investigación de carácter descriptivo, apoyada en información cualitativa y cuantitativa, denominada “Criterios para la optimización de los sistemas de dosificación y agitación en las plantas de tratamiento de aguas residuales”, la cual se llevó a cabo en la PTAR-C de la ciudad de Cali, con el apoyo de sus directivas y personal técnico que allí labora. Los resultados permitieron establecer que esta planta de tratamiento opera aplicando el Tratamiento Primario Avanzado o TPA, al afluente estimado en 7.6m3/seg generado en la ciudad, pero que tales operaciones hacen parte de un proyecto macro que hacia el año 2015 debe estar procesando un caudal de 14m3/seg, haciendo de ella la segunda en importancia en el país, comparable a la PTAR El Salitre de Bogotá. Por lo tanto, resulta imprescindible que esta empresa optimice sus esquemas operativos con base a los criterios técnico-científicos recomendados a nivel nacional e internacional. Las recomendaciones realizadas a sus directivas como producto del trabajo de campo se concretaron en lo siguiente: primero ajustar los sistemas de dosificación del cloruro férrico de acuerdo a las variaciones que presenta el afluente a lo largo del día; segundo, mejorar el sistema de agitación con equipos similares a los sugeridos; tercero, sugerir un sistema de medición del afluente utilizando una sonda digital, para ajustar adecuadamente los sistemas de dosificación y agitación; cuarto, mejorar el sistema de disolución de los químicos empleados, mediante la implementación de equipos similares a los sugeridos; quinto, integrar y comunicar los instrumentos mediante la red y equipos sugeridos en este proyecto.

The results allowed to establish that this treatment plant operates applying the Advanced Primary Treatment or TPA, to the tributary estimated in 7.6m3/seg generated in the city, but that such operations make part of a macro project that toward the year 2015 should be processing a flow of 14m3/seg, making of her the second in importance in the country, comparable to the PTAR The Salitre of Bogotá. Therefore, it is indispensable that this company optimizes its operative outlines with base to the technician-scientific approaches recommended at national and international level. The recommendations carried out to their directive ones as product of the field work were summed up in the following thing: first to adjust the systems of dosage of the ferric chloride according to the variations that it presents the tributary along the day; second, to improve the system of agitation with similar teams to those suggested; third, to implement the system of mensuration of the tributary with the digital probe, to adjust the dosage systems and agitation appropriately; room, to improve the system of the chemists' employees break-up, by means of the implementation of similar teams to those suggested. Fifth; integrate and communicate the instruments by the network and equipment suggested in this project.
