Proceso de valoración turística del centro de peregrinación Mariano del municipio de Piendamó – Cauca, como instrumento para planificación turística

Abstract

El presente trabajo se desarrolló en el municipio de Piendamó departamento del Cauca entre los años 2019-2020. La investigación consistió en realizar una valoración turística en el Centro de Peregrinación Mariano como instrumento de planificación turística. Se utilizó la metodología denominada “Modelo – Guía Valoración Turística Del Patrimonio Religioso: Los Templos De Jerez de la Frontera”; la cual permitió su aplicabilidad sin contratiempos, ya que se basó en la evaluación de diferentes ítems o factores que conforman el lugar turístico y continuamente complementan el servicio que ofrece, cada ítem se valoró de manera independiente para obtener un diagnóstico más específico de falencias y fortalezas. Dentro del proceso de investigación inicialmente se concretó el modelo de valoración turística a aplicar, según las características del lugar objeto de estudio, consecutivamente se aplicó el modelo de valoración para su respectiva observación. la metodología tuvo como apoyo secundario la realización de aforos en días específicos que dejo ver la afluencia de turistas y peregrinos en el Centro de Peregrinación, además se aplicó una encuesta que permitió conocer opiniones en temas entorno a la frecuencia de visita al lugar, motivo de visita, satisfacción, pagos sugeridos, medios de información, entre otros. Por lo cual basados en estos resultados de la investigación se revelo que el Centro De Peregrinación Mariano debe implementar modelos o crear planes en planificación y gestión turística que contribuyan al desarrollo del centro de peregrinación como destino turístico religioso.

The following assignment was developed in the municipality of Piendamó department of Cauca between the years 2019-2020. The research consisted of making out a tourist valuation in the Marian Pilgrimage Centre as a tool for tourist planning. We used the methodology called "Model - Tourist Valuation Guide of the Religious Heritage: The Temples of Jerez de la Frontera"; which allowed its application without mishaps, since it was based on the evaluation of different items or factors that make up the tourist site and continuously complement the service it offers, each item was evaluated independently to obtain a more specific diagnosis of shortcomings and strengths. As part of the research process, the tourism valuation model was initially applied, according to the characteristics of the site under study, the valuation model was applied consecutively for its respective observation. the methodology had as secondary support the realization of seats in specific days that let see the influx of tourists and pilgrims in the Center of Pilgrimage, in addition a survey was applied that allowed to know opinions in topics around the frequency of visit to the place, reason for visit, satisfaction, suggested payments, media, among others. Therefore, based on these research results, it is revealed that the Marian Pilgrimage Center should implement models or create plans in tourism planning and management to contribute to the development of the pilgrimage center as a religious tourist destination.
