Determinación de la necesidad de implementar el servicio de fisioterapia en el hospital nivel I Luis Adriano Peréz del municipio de Inzá - Cauca durante el año 2003

Abstract

Objetivo. Determinar la necesidad de implementación del servicio Fisioterapéutico en el Hospital Nivel I Luis Adriano Pérez del Municipio de Inzá Cauca. Métodos. Se desarrollo un estudio descriptivo para lo cual de las 16335 consultas atendidas en el servicio de consulta externa durante el año 2003 se calculó una muestra de 376 historias clínicas, se reviso la morbilidad sentida. La segunda parte del estudio se estructuró sobre la identificación de las patologías susceptibles de intervención fisioterapéutica y se construyó un escenario donde se proyectó un servicio de Fisioterapia frente a las necesidades sentidas en esta área. Se desarrollaron los análisis de costos teniendo en cuenta los conceptos de gasto hospitalario. Resultados. Se identificaron 23 patologías candidatas a intervención fisioterapéutica 140 casos (37.2%), y el servicio en condiciones óptimas podría generar en facturación $55’200.000 con una rentabilidad aproximada de $30’933.200 si se cumplen las condiciones estudiadas. Discusión. Por la morbilidad atendida y la ubicación de la cabecera municipal respecto a la capital del departamento y las barreras de acceso de la población a la red pública crea la necesidad de desarrollar un servicio para mejorar la calidad de vida

Objective. Determine the necessity of implementation of the service physiotherapeutic in the Hospital Level I Luis Adriano Pérez of the municipality of Inzá Cauca. Methods. It develops a descriptive study for that which of the 16335 consultations assisted in the service of external consultation during the year 2003 a sample of 376 clinical histories was calculated, it revises the felt sickness. The second part of the study was structured on the identification of the susceptible pathologies of intervention physiotherapeutic and a scenario was built where he/she was projected a service of Physiotherapy in front of the necessities felt in this area. The analyses of costs were developed keeping in mind the concepts of hospital expense. Results. 23 pathologies candidates were identified to intervention physiotherapeutic 140 cases (37.2%), and the service under good conditions could generate in billing $55'200.000 with an approximate profitability of $30'933.200 if the studied conditions are completed. Discussion. For the assisted sickness and the location of the municipal head regarding the capital of the department and the access barriers of the population to the public net believes a necessity to develop a service to improve the quality of life.
