dc.description.abstract Curriculum development is a set of tools of the pedagogical environment that contribute to the integral formation of the student. Based on this precept, this research was carried out with the general objective of determining the incidence of the graduates of the Modern Languages English - French program in the curricular development of the English area in primary and secondary education, through a quantitative approach. For this purpose, it was necessary to design and apply two surveys, with which it was found that the lack of knowledge of the legal framework in question is represented in difficulties for the performance of the teaching profession. In addition, the importance of including in the program's curriculum the theoretical and practical training of normative elements contained in the General Education Law was recognized. eng
