El agua como elemento dinamizador de procesos interculturales, de defensa y re-existencia del territorio para el movimiento social del Municipio de La Vega – Cauca

Abstract

El propósito principal de la presente investigación es analizar la importancia del agua como elemento dinamizador de procesos interculturales de defensa y re-existencia del territorio, para el movimiento social del municipio de la Vega – Cauca. Por ello, comprender la relación indisoluble entre agua- territorio, desde la mirada de las organizaciones indígenas y campesinas que coexisten en el municipio de la Vega Cauca, es lo que se constituye la apuesta investigativa bajo la pregunta: ¿Cuál es la importancia del agua como elemento dinamizador de procesos interculturales, de resistencia, defensa y re-existencia del territorio en el movimiento social del municipio de La Vega – Cauca? En este sentido es importante destacar el significado de acompañar los procesos de defensa del agua y el territorio de manera integral, como lo viene realizando el Proceso Campesino y Popular del Municipio de La Vega; desde esta perspectiva, es un compromiso ético- político, para quienes se reconocen parte de una comunidad consciente y consecuente con dichas causas. Para el desarrollo del presente estudio se aplicó la investigación-Acción-Participación, realizada desde y con las comunidades, buscando entender el problema sobre la privatización del agua, para generar participación activa de los investigados. Para el logro de los objetivos se construyeron estrategias pedagógicas con base a las entrevistas grupo focal, efectuadas con los actores desde la educación popular, para transformar las condiciones iniciales, evaluando y valorando los alcances obtenidos durante el desarrollo del proyecto. En este sentido, se desarrollaron varias actividades participativas y organizativas con base a las categorías planteadas en el marco teórico direccionadas a: La educación popular; Desarrollo / extractivismo vs el buen vivir, interculturalidad y movimientos sociales.

The main purpose of this research is to analyze the importance of water as a dynamic element of intercultural processes of defense and re-existence of the territory for the social movement of the municipality of La Vega – Cauca. Therefore, understanding the indissoluble relationship between water and territory, from the perspective of the indigenous and peasant organizations that coexist in the municipality of Vega Cauca, is what constitutes the investigative commitment under the question: What is the importance of water as dynamic element of intercultural processes, resistance, defense and re-existence of the territory in the social movement of the municipality of Vega – Cauca? In this sense, it is important to highlight the meaning of accompanying the processes of defense of water and territory in a comprehensive manner, as the Peasant and Popular Process of the Municipality of La Vega has been carrying out, from this perspective it is an ethical-political commitment, for those who They recognize themselves as part of a conscious and consistent community with these causes. For the development of this study, Action-Participation research was applied, carried out from and with the communities, seeking to understand the problem of water privatization, to generate active participation of those investigated. To achieve the objectives, pedagogical strategies were built based on focus group interviews, carried out with the actors from popular education, to transform the initial conditions, evaluating and valuing the achievements obtained during the development of the project. In this sense, several participatory and organizational activities were developed based on the categories proposed in the theoretical framework aimed at: Popular education; Development / extractivism vs good living, interculturality and social movements.
